ACOGITO is a combination of “A” (one of ‘negative’ prefixes) and “COGITO” (‘cognition’ or ‘thinking’ in Latin), which collectively means “NO THINKING”.
By its name, ACOGITO pursues minimization of consumer’s efforts through a maximum convenience in use of home video devices, extending the use of a Personal Video Recorder (PVR) into everyone’s daily digital life. Therefore, the Company intends not to allow consumers think how to use, but just  “POWER ON, JOY ON”.

Founded in June 2004, ACOGITO designs, manufactures, and sells the state-of-the-art SD/HD PVR-enabled Set-Top Box with dual tuners (ACO PVR). Unlike other standalone PVR-enabled STB, ACOGITO exclusively offers consumers the remote control agent service, called “ACO SERVICE”, which enables consumers to enjoy the digital home entertainment without any hassle from the initial set-up to the continued daily use through WEB and WAP.
